For a decade and a half, Grace Petrie has been one of the UK’s most urgent and passionatesongwriters. Coming of age amidst the coalition government, her politically charged folk musicquickly gained national attention and propelled her to the main stages offolk festivals fromCambridge to Vancouver to the Blue Mountains of Australia. The release of2024’s album‘Build Something Better’,produced by Frank Turner, topped the UK’s Official Folk Album Chart andcemented her place as one of Britain’s most respected independent artists.In 2026 she is exploring the stripped back nature of folk songwriting once again, performing a showin two halves that encompasses both an intimate solo set and a career-retrospective full bandperformance featuring songs from across her sixteen-year catalogue.
