Carroll Thompson brought a soulful intimacy to Lovers Rock with her inimitable voice and emotive songwriting. Her debut album, featuring enduring classics like “I’m So Sorry)” and “Hopelessly in Love”, sold over a million copies and was recently named The Greatest Lovers Rock Album of All Time by Mojo Magazine. Blending gentle rhythms with lyrical depth, her music defined the sound of a generation.
