In 2010, ‘A Woman in Love’, Maysa’s 8th solo CD, debuted at No. 1 on the Contemporary Jazz Charts. Maysa’s 9th solo album, ‘Motions of Love’, released in November 2011, debuted at #1 on Billboard`s Contemporary Jazz Chart and #7 on the R&B Chart. Maysa considers ‘Blue Velvet Soul’ (2013), her tenth solo album, to be some of her best work. ‘Blue Velvet Soul’ hit #5 on the Billboard Jazz Chart, #3 on the Contemporary Jazz Chart and #13 on the R&B Chart. In 2015, Maysa released ‘Back to Love’, which featured Phil Perry and Mint Condition’s Stokley Williams. ‘Back to Love’ hit #4 on the Billboard Jazz Chart and #2 on the Contemporary Jazz Chart. In 2017, Maysa released ‘Love Is a Battlefield’, a covers LP that saw her delivering soulful renditions of songs by the Isley Brothers, Luther Vandross, Natalie Cole, and Pat Benatar, among others. ‘Love is a Battlefield’ hit #3 on the Billboard Jazz Chart and #1 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Chart.
