His music combines raw energy with deep soul, carrying a distinctive signature shaped by legends such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Eric Clapton.He began performing in Toronto as a teenager and early on joined the band of JeA Healey, with whom he toured worldwide for several years. Further milestones followed as a guitarist for artists such as Melissa Etheridge and Uncle Cracker.Today, Sayce captivates international audiences as a solo artist—his explosive live performances are widely regarded as a truly special experience, earning him appearances at major events such as Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival.With his unmistakable tone and his legendary Stratocaster “Mother,” Philip Sayce brings an intensity to the stage that goes straight under your skin.
