From the defiant Mississippi Goddam to the anthemic Feeling Good and the haunting Sinnerman, Acantha keeps Nina’s spirit alive, infusing each song with deep emotion and reverence for her legacy.

ABOUT ACANTHA LANG
With deep Southern roots and a sound shaped by her New Orleans heritage, London-based soul powerhouse Acantha Lang has earned comparisons to icons like Aretha Franklin and Gladys Knight for her commanding vocals and soul-stirring delivery. 

Her debut album, Beautiful Dreams, made waves in 2023, reaching #3 on the Official UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart and #14 on the Official UK Independent Album Breakers Chart. The album earned 5 stars from Echoes Magazine, Album of the Month honors from Soul Tracks, and widespread critical acclaim from Soul Bag Magazine in France. She has been featured in Relix, American Songwriter, KCRW, and graced the covers of Blues & Soul and Echoes magazines.

A GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriter (for her work with Robert Randolph & The Family Band), Lang has earned global recognition for her music, which has surpassed 7 million streams and landed on major Spotify playlists like All Funked Up, Best Retro Songs, and Best Funk Songs. She was also featured in the GRAMMY® ReImagined cover series and is a proud Recording Academy member.
