Recorded live over three days at the legendary Konk Studios, the album captures a raw, cinematic tension that translates powerfully to the stage.
Expect a high-energy performance that seamlessly weaves together 90s hip-hop grooves, Middle Eastern textures, and the soulful grit of 70s jazz-funk trios. Backed by a powerhouse rhythm section featuring bassist Tom Driessler (Yussef Dayes) and drummer Zoe Pascal, Mayraz explores the “internal commotion” of modern life through tightly structured compositions and wild, improvisational flair.
